Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Protestant Education Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating all Protestant Religious Education events and elements, including teaching pre-approved curriculum for Sunday children's church services and PWC children's RE programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Coordination: Serve as the primary coordinator, facilitator, and organizer of all Protestant RE events and elements, ensuring smooth execution and maximum impact.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and maintain electronic records of RE programs and events, recommend curriculum/programming for the next fiscal year's Protestant RE cycle, and provide pre-approved curriculum/lesson plans to scheduled volunteers.
  • Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and supervise all Protestant RE volunteers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively carry out their roles.
  • Communication: Publicize all Protestant RE events via approved means, plan the annual volunteer appreciation event, and incorporate children and youth during holiday season for worship specials.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with volunteers, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Proven ability to coordinate multiple events and programs simultaneously.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on volunteer management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using electronic record-keeping systems and other software applications relevant to the role.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
