About the Role

This Clinical Nurse Coordinator position is responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in the unit/department during designated shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care by assisting with admission and discharge processes.
  • Collaborate with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols.
  • Manage staff labor according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines, recommending adjustments as necessary.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

  • A graduate degree in Nursing (Associate's or higher) from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where practicing, or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
  • At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a proven track record of providing exceptional patient care and leadership.
