We are searching for a highly skilled Construction Site Crew Leader to join our team at Hoopaugh Grading Company, LLC. As a key member of our construction site crew, you will oversee the safe operation of heavy machinery and ensure the successful completion of projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the operation of Caterpillar or Volvo off-road dump trucks, ensuring safe navigation through various terrain and optimizing the efficiency of our construction sites. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily inspections of equipment
  • Safely navigate through work areas
  • Supervise the operation of trucks
  • Ensure trucks are level and straight before dumping loads
  • Optimize travel speed based on haul road conditions
  • Foster effective communication among team members
  • Maintain attendance and participate in overtime as needed

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • At least one year of experience operating off-road dump trucks
  • A valid driver's license
  • The ability to lift 40-80 pounds regularly
  • Exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills

Salary and Benefits
