Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Developmental Disabilities

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring that they receive the support and services they need to thrive.

Responsibilities: As a Licensed Practical Nurse with the NYS Office for People With Developmental Disabilities, you will be responsible for:
  • Assessing the physical and emotional needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and developing individualized care plans;
  • Providing direct care services, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and implementing treatments and interventions;
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and coordinating care transitions;

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a license to practice as a practical nurse in New York State, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
