Procurement Transformation Manager

Join Waters Corporation, a leading specialty measurement company, in a dynamic role that will drive improvements to processes and systems related to direct procurement, supplier management, contract management, and spend analytics across our manufacturing sites and global procurement function.
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Transformation Manager to lead the development of a comprehensive procurement strategy, leveraging expertise in process discovery, design, modeling, and implementation. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, deploy, and drive adoption of new policies, processes, metrics, and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a deep understanding of current policies, processes, metrics, and systems
- Identify best practices to be adopted into current policies, processes, metrics, and systems
- Design and validate proposed changes
- Deploy new processes, functionality, and analytics, supported with appropriate communication, training, and documentation
- Measure adoption and adherence, execute interventions to drive increased adoption and adherence where necessary
- Identify opportunities to automate or streamline processes
- Maintain a prioritized roadmap of changes to be introduced, working with business leaders and other transformation leads to reach alignment
- 5+ years of dynamic experience in consulting and/or manufacturing operations, including working knowledge of one or more specific areas (e.g., direct procurement, material management)
- Process discovery, design, modeling, and implementation experience
- Knowledge of SAP capabilities (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4 HANA)
- Experience designing and deploying SAP-based processes and functionality
- Knowledge of Celonis Process Mining, Symbio BPM solutions, or equivalents a plus
- Knowledge of PowerBI a plus
- Experience working in Agile teams based on SCRUM methodology a plus
- Strong project management skills, experience crafting and executing global projects
- Strong influencing skills, proven ability to work across organizational boundaries driving change and harmonization across a global organization
- Results-oriented mindset, operates with high sense of urgency. Consistent track record of solving problems, breaking down barriers, and delivering results ahead of schedule
- Strong written and verbal communication
- ASCM/APICS certifications a plus
- BS Degree in an Engineering, Science, or Supply Chain discipline. Master's Degree preferred
