Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with a clinical care team to provide comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat complex illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
- Perform therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures, as needed.
- Use critical thinking skills and evidence-based standards of practice to ensure accurate and effective patient care.
- Document patient encounters thoroughly and accurately, ensuring continuity of care.
- Analyze test data to diagnose, treat, and arrange follow-up care for patients.
- Educate patients and families on how to manage their acute illness and maintain their health and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Identify and proactively solve problems to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics.
- Provide care with compassion, empathy, and cultural competency.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in acute care settings, such as Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, or Hospital.
- Graduate with an advanced degree from an accredited institution.
- Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Nationally board certified, current.
- Current BLS required, ACLS certification preferred.
- Prescriptive authority and DEA.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
