About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a clinical care team to provide comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat complex illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
  • Perform therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures, as needed.
  • Use critical thinking skills and evidence-based standards of practice to ensure accurate and effective patient care.
  • Document patient encounters thoroughly and accurately, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Analyze test data to diagnose, treat, and arrange follow-up care for patients.
  • Educate patients and families on how to manage their acute illness and maintain their health and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Identify and proactively solve problems to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics.
  • Provide care with compassion, empathy, and cultural competency.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in acute care settings, such as Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, or Hospital.
  • Graduate with an advanced degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Nationally board certified, current.
  • Current BLS required, ACLS certification preferred.
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
