About the Job

The Account Executive plays a crucial role in soliciting and procuring orders of Safilo USA product lines within assigned geographical areas. This position requires growing market demand for the Safilo portfolio of products in a collection of customer accounts within a geographical area.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a business consultant on product knowledge, technology, pricing, and other areas, thereby acting as a strategic partner with Safilo customers.
  • Create close relationships with customers to execute corporate plans, negotiate strategies, and meet business objectives.
  • Deliver on volume and net sales objectives for all Safilo portfolio of products.
  • Implement the sustainable Safilo Sales Model with strategic customers to drive growth.
  • Partner closely with the local synergy team of other Territory Managers to coordinate business and customer relationships as a whole.
  • Develop and adhere to an effective call cycle to achieve desired service frequency to Safilo customer accounts to meet indicated net sales objectives at least twice a quarter.
  • Manage all company resources for the territory to ensure they are deployed in the most efficient and effective manner possible to achieve and exceed volume and net sales objectives.
  • Develop an understanding of and, where appropriate, act on market intelligence that may impact the sale of the Safilo portfolio of products.
  • Monitor and measure achievement against territory objectives and implement appropriate strategies to maximize performance.
  • Motivate, support, coach, train, and develop customers to maximize the sale of the Safilo portfolio of products.
  • Build a strong working relationship with Safilo customers at all levels within the practices and businesses they manage.
  • Drive assortment plans with customers and ensure brand visual merchandising standards are met.
  • Utilize all brand materials to conduct regular customer staff trainings to reinforce knowledge and ensure message to the patient/consumer is translated consistently to brand positioning standards.
  • Cultivate the existing customer base while partnering with the local sales representative team to prospect for new potential customers in the market.
  • Monitor customers' payment cycles and credit history and participate in collection efforts as directed by the Company.
