We're seeking a skilled Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team at Fifth Third Bank. As a key member of our Commercial Servicing team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of commercial loans, leases, and dealer floor plan processes to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Meet productivity and quality metrics expectations within each servicing function performed, driving efficiency and accuracy.
  • Apply a working knowledge of diverse commercial loan portfolios, legal requirements, and Fifth Third Bancorp Commercial Loan policies to ensure compliance and risk management.
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests related to internal/external audits, SOX testing, issue resolution, RCSA, business controls testing, and remediations.
  • Review legal documentation to validate and process requested adjustments, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Stay up-to-date on SBA operational policies and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with other commercial servicing teams during peak volumes to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinate wire initiations for the Servicing department, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Provide strong customer service skills to both internal and external customers, resolving issues and exceeding expectations.
  • Contribute to process improvements by reviewing operational procedures and recommending changes for automation and efficiency.
  • Gain a strong understanding of multiple systems, including AFS, ACBS, Real Synergy, ACE, Filenet, Mobius, CRM, and Microsoft products.
  • Ensure accurate processing of complex transactions on high-dollar loans, minimizing risk and maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a contact for escalated commercial customer research and resolution requests, handling complex customer or operational issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial banking or a related field.
  • Professional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with various Commercial Loan systems, including ALSR, GEAC, AFS, Raft, Vector, ACE, Filenet, Mobius, Fifth Third Direct, and Adobe.
  • Able to work independently to meet deadlines with a low margin of error.
