Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Reporting Specialist to join our team at Volkswagen Group of America. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating technical fleet compliance reports for VW Group in the US and Canadian markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead working teams between EEO and VW Brands in Europe for compliance reporting data creation and verification
  • Compile, validate, and report fleet compliance data to US Federal and State Agencies, including CARB
  • Develop and maintain Averaging Banking and Trading mechanisms for fleet compliance mandates
  • Perform multi-eye reviews of data submitted for fleet emission compliance reports
  • Input VW Group compliance and fuel economy data into government databases
  • Assemble and review Monroney/fuel economy labels for Volkswagen Group
Regulatory Monitoring and Development
  • Participate in regulatory monitoring and development topics related to compliance reporting regulations
  • Interact with internal stakeholders to coordinate technical positions on future regulations
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of complex regulations to develop well-documented interpretations
  • Represent VWGoA in technical working groups and policy activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Automotive Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of Greenhouse Gas, CAFE, and emissions regulations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, Automotive Technology, or IT Project Management
  • High level of expertise in Excel, project management software, and MS Office
  • Working knowledge of VBA programming and SQL
Work Environment

This role requires minimal travel and offers a flexible work schedule. You must be available to contact colleagues at European locations and government agencies across the US and Canada.
