Electrical Compliance Qualifier Role

A challenging opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Compliance Qualifier to join our team at ABB Electrification Services. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products and systems meet the highest standards of electrical compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site visits to assess compliance and safety measures at job sites
  • Research and stay up-to-date on state electrical contractor license requirements and exemptions
  • Collaborate with business areas to ensure effective business processes and plans are in place
  • Review and provide input on field work job plans and execution strategies
  • Prepare or provide input for proposals/contracts and make recommendations on labor estimates, field equipment requirements, and technical documents

Requirements:

  • Statewide Electrical Contractor license or Master Electrician license(s) in MI with the ability to obtain MO, IL, IN, OH, KY, and VA within 6 months
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to deliver presentations to large and small groups
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or SAP
  • Ability to grow and expand within the role and obtain additional jurisdictional licenses
