Job Overview

Position Summary

This role plays a vital part in the success of Lixi Nanuet Inc by delivering exceptional customer service to every patron. The position is designed to create a welcoming Starbucks Experience for customers through timely service, high-quality beverages, and maintaining a tidy and inviting store atmosphere. The individual will embody and uphold the core values and principles of Starbucks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform essential functions including but not limited to:
  • Exhibit integrity, honesty, and knowledge that reflect the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks.
  • Maintain composure during busy periods or unexpected events to ensure the store operates smoothly and sets a positive example for the team.
  • Proactively assess customer and store needs by continuously observing the environment and customer cues.
  • Relay information to management to enable the team to foster a welcoming environment during each shift.
  • Support the training of new partners by positively reinforcing successful behaviors and providing respectful coaching as necessary.
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by identifying changes in partner morale and performance and communicating these to the store manager.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by prioritizing customer needs and establishing connections with patrons. Recognize and address customer requirements.
  • Adhere to operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety protocols, to ensure the safety of all partners during shifts.
  • Keep a clean and organized workspace to facilitate easy access to resources and products.
  • Consistently provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food items by following established recipes and presentation standards. Comply with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Acknowledge and celebrate individual and team achievements using existing organizational methods.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

  • No prior experience necessary.

Basic Requirements

  • Consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Availability for flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Ability to meet store operational standards, including providing quality beverages and food, cash handling, and ensuring safety and security.
  • Engage with customers effectively, identifying and responding to their needs through clear and friendly communication.
  • Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized requests, including adjustments to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.
  • Willingness to perform various tasks within the store during each shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 per hour
