Neurosurgery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Neurosurgeon to join our team at VCU Health, specializing in Skull Based and Brain Tumor Neurosurgery. As a faculty member, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to improving patient care, education, and research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care: Provide expert care to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, with opportunities to develop adult/general neurosurgical services.
- Teaching: Teach medical students, neurosurgery residents, and fellows, promoting excellence in education and research.
- Research: Lead the clinical care, clinical trial portfolio, and translational research for the Neurosurgery brain tumor program, collaborating with departmental researchers.
- Service: Participate in departmental, School of Medicine, and University committees, as well as professional organizations in your field.
Requirements:
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Neurosurgery
- Fellowship training in Skull-Base and/or Brain Tumor Neurosurgery
- Demonstrated experience fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment
