Neurosurgeon - Complex Spine Specialist

VCU Health is seeking a highly skilled Neurosurgeon with expertise in Complex Spine and Spinal Deformity neurosurgery to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurosurgeon with fellowship training in Complex Spine/Spinal Deformity to coordinate and manage a complex spine program, teach and participate in multidisciplinary clinical measures, and provide patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities:- Clinical: Provide patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with the possibility of providing adult/general neurosurgical services.
- Teaching: Teach medical students, neurosurgery residents, and fellows.
- Research: Conduct research and/or clinical trials in an academic setting with other PIs, learners, and students.
- Service: Serve on departmental, School of Medicine, and/or University committees as necessary, as well as in a professional capacity in their field.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
- Fellowship training in Complex Spine/Spinal Deformity.
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
- Competency in general/adult Neurosurgery.
