Orthopedic Front Office Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Orthopedic Front Office Representative to join our team at The Center for Orthopedic and Research E. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing patient flow, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Greets patients, answers phone calls, and responds to emails in a professional and courteous manner.
- Registers patients, collects demographic and insurance information, and verifies eligibility.
- Schedules appointments, manages waitlists, and communicates with patients and providers as needed.
- Collects co-payments, co-insurances, and past due account balances, and processes payments accurately.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and billing information.
- Communicates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in orthopedic or healthcare administration.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA guidelines, and healthcare regulations.
