Position Overview:

The Construction Site Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations on-site, ensuring that projects progress efficiently and effectively.


Key Responsibilities:


Operate heavy machinery including track hoes and backhoes, while also managing the scheduling and procurement of rental equipment and materials.

Lead and coordinate the project, which encompasses piping work and the installation of tanks and associated materials.
Relay any specific project requirements to the Installation Manager to ensure safety, timeliness, and profitability.
Engage with clients or their representatives to address any requirements or challenges that may arise during the project.

Demonstrate the ability to interpret relevant plans, specifications, environmental regulations, and building codes that must be adhered to on-site.


Meeting Attendance:
Participate in the following meetings as necessary:
- Pre-Construction Meetings
- Safety Meetings
- Training sessions as directed by the Installation Manager
Maintain accurate daily logs for each project, documenting tests, inspections, daily progress, visitors, and any factors that may negatively impact the schedule.

Set a professional example for crew members by arriving on time and in appropriate attire.
Supervise daily crew activities and plan for upcoming tasks.
Utilize opportunities to train crew members, empowering them to take on greater responsibilities.


Safety Enforcement:
Identify and rectify potential hazards on-site.
Ensure all crew members and subcontractors utilize the required personal protective equipment.
Conduct weekly safety meetings to promote a culture of safety.
Company Image Maintenance:
Ensure that all crew members maintain a clean and professional appearance in line with company policy.
Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained.
Maintain an orderly job site, free from safety hazards, treating it with the same care as personal property.
Ensure job site signage is well-kept and in good condition.
Promote professionalism and courtesy among all crew members.
Adhere to departmental preventive maintenance policies for all vehicles, ensuring safe operating conditions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping and related products is required.
- Must possess either a Fueling Certification License or an Underground Storage Tank and Piping License.

- A valid driver's license is required, with the ability to operate construction trucks and tow small trailers as necessary.
- No DUI offenses within the past 5 years.
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
