The Bartender will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our Guests in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask with ease.
Key Responsibilities
- ID Guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be 40 years old or younger.
- Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the bar area.
- Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks to Guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide a personal touch to repeat Guests by learning their names and favorite drinks.
- Coordinate food orders from Guests seated in the bar area with the kitchen.
- Learn the menu and make recommendations to Guests when appropriate.
- Upsell Guests on food or drink items when applicable.
- Keep the bar area clean and organized.
- Accurately ring up all orders in the POS system.
- Follow all relevant brand standards for service.
Qualification Requirements
- Dress neatly and be well-groomed in company-approved uniform at all times.
- Operate the P.O.S. system, make change correctly, and process credit card transactions.
- Respond calmly to angry Guests and notify a Manager when necessary.
- Pass bar validation.
- Respond clearly to Guests' requests.
- Hear well in loud background noise.
- Frequently lift 30 lb. cases and carry short distances, up or down stairs.
