Description:Senior or executive secretarial work of a high level and confidential nature for facilitating general management details for the Medical Staff Services Department. Self-starter position entails support with delegated administrative duties to the Medical Staff Services Department and Medical Staff Officers. Independent judgment is essential in resolving varied problems in compliance with established policies, rules and regulations, bylaws and TJC standards. Position also requires the ability to be flexible and to prioritize a number of competing tasks.Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.84 / hour depending on experience.Qualifications:
Degrees:
- High School Diploma, Certificate, GED, training or experience required
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment operations.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Prior experience in a health care setting preferred.
- Effective professional business written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service, organization, planning and time management skills.
- Familiarity/knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Ability to transcribe minutes, if applicable.
