Health and Fitness Instructors Opportunity at Greater Somerset County YMCA

Become a part of a vibrant YMCA committed to enhancing community well-being through youth engagement, healthy lifestyles, and social responsibility. With a rich legacy of 150 years, the Greater Somerset County YMCA (GSCY) positively impacts over 30,000 individuals across multiple locations.

We are seeking passionate Instructors to facilitate a diverse range of fitness sessions, including Spin, Strength & Conditioning, Bootcamp, Zumba, HIIT Training, TRX Pilates, and Senior Classes. All sessions will be conducted in person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fitness classes focusing on strength and cardiovascular exercises
  • Foster relationships with members and fellow staff
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support
  • Promote a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere
  • Ensure the upkeep of fitness facilities

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Certification in group exercise is mandatory
  • Demonstrated punctuality and strong communication skills
