Job Overview

Greater Somerset County YMCA is a local charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the community by connecting all people to their potential, purpose, and each other.

We are seeking energetic and engaging Fitness Instructors to teach mat Pilates, Zumba, Les Mills Bodypump, and Cardio Kickboxing classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a variety of fitness classes in strength and cardiovascular routines
  • Build relationships with members and staff to retain participants
  • Deliver positive customer service, motivation, and support
  • Create a positive and inclusive environment for all
  • Maintain quality of the fitness rooms and report any equipment issues
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have at least one group exercise certification
  • Must have CPR certification
  • Experience preferred, but will train
  • Must be punctual and have excellent communication skills
