Position Summary

The Team Leader plays a crucial role in guiding, training, and inspiring assigned Account Managers. Your contributions will directly impact Eagle Rock's success by mentoring your team and driving them to achieve their monthly revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and present marketing support materials for the sales team.
  • Oversee and train Account Managers in various job functions, including rotation, merchandising, and effective communication.
  • Schedule and execute essential in-market activities.
  • Plan and manage daily route schedules.
  • Address and resolve retailer and consumer complaints promptly.
  • Maintain the assigned company vehicle and equipment responsibly.
  • Continuously monitor sales goals to ensure objectives are met across all routes.
  • Utilize diverse sales techniques to expand business within the territory.
  • Identify potential customers and evaluate sales opportunities.
  • Analyze competitor activities and explore avenues for business growth.
  • Work towards revenue targets and key performance indicators set by the sales manager.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to build strong relationships.
  • Participate in industry events to enhance business development.
  • Coordinate local execution of national marketing strategies.
  • Engage in team selling alongside Sales Representatives.
  • Conduct business analysis to identify additional opportunities.
  • Prepare for and contribute to sales meetings.
  • Plan and execute promotional events.
  • Guide the sales team in recognizing market opportunities.
  • Prioritize daily objectives for the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Three to five years of sales experience preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable.

Skills Required

  • Strong sales and customer service capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of product characteristics.
  • Ability to distinguish between brands through sampling.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Ability to follow instructions in various formats.
  • Independent worker with sound judgment and initiative.
  • Problem-solving skills in standardized situations.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to reach, pull, twist, bend, stoop, and lift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Effective communication with retailers and colleagues is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 annually, with actual offers varying based on factors such as experience and skills.
