Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Program Quality Lead to join our team at RTX Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for promoting and executing a strong quality mindset, practices, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic and tactical Mission Assurance plans to ensure program success.
  • Lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities to address systemic issues.
  • Collaborate with external and internal customers to establish effective relationships and ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Manage and impact multiple levels of stakeholders to drive quality and compliance.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance program performance.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience.
  • Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
  • Working experience with performance to cost, schedule, and technical performance, including familiarity with Cost Accounting Methodologies (Earned Value Management (EVM)).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of contract flow and compliance.
  • Trained/certified and competent in Quality Management Systems (i.e. American Society of Quality Certified Manager of Quality, or equivalent).
  • Six Sigma, Lean, CORE, or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification.
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Certification.

Clearance Information

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
