Job Title: Principal Engineer - Array Integrated Structure Product Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to lead the Array Integrated Structure Product Lead for our LTAMDS program. As a key member of our Radar Mechanical Design Department, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of innovative land-based and shipboard radars.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of integrated phase arrays, including array structure, power, RF, control, and cooling distribution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful system integration, test, and fielding activities.
  • Develop and maintain technical solutions to complex problems related to the entire product life cycle.
  • Supervise the definition of mechanical outline and construction details, component selection and specification, and deliver the final technical data package.
  • Employ transition-to-production practices and lead a design release into production.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in mechanical design.
  • Experience with phase array structures, hardware packaging, and array integration for military or commercial applications.
  • Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cognizant of machine suppliers' capabilities or have direct experience in a manufacturing and assembly support role for producibility.
  • Familiarity with the design and manufacturing processes of CCAs, mechanical/RF components, metal housings, and electronics assemblies.
  • Strong technical background with high technical aptitude.
  • Strong leadership skills and project management.
  • Experience with CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D solid modeling software.
  • Experience with PTC Windchill Product Data Management or equivalent configuration/data management software.

We offer a competitive salary range of $96,000 - $200,000, depending on experience.
