Manufacturing Group Leader Position

As a Manufacturing Group Leader at Toyota Boshoku, you will be responsible for directing team leaders and team members in assigned manufacturing areas. Your primary goal will be to ensure the execution of the group's responsibilities in accordance with company policies, Toyota Production System manufacturing standards, and safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Function as a front-line supervisor over team leaders and team members, planning and coordinating hiring and placement, monitoring staffing conditions, and ensuring compliance with company rules and policies.
- Production Management: Manage and appraise team member job performance, develop and maintain positive team member relations, and provide direction and motivation to team members emphasizing safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement activities, participate in setting Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets, and initiate, coordinate, and participate in safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvement projects.
- Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintain a safe working environment, and lead ergonomic assessments of team member workstations.
- Education: Associate's degree in Business, Manufacturing, or related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum of three years of relevant manufacturing experience and two years of previous leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Skills: Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job functions of a leadership role, including strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
The Manufacturing Group Leader will work in a dynamic team environment with moderate noise levels and may be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
