Maintenance Team Leader

Toyota Boshoku America is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for directing team members in assigned manufacturing areas, ensuring the execution of team leader responsibilities, and supporting the overall Toyota Production System.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership
Direct team members in assigned manufacturing areas, ensuring the execution of team leader responsibilities and supporting the overall Toyota Production System. - Maintenance and Repair Operations
Develop and maintain standardized work procedures, assign work to team members, and perform essential job functions as necessary to maintain efficient, stable, and continuous operations. - Safety and Efficiency
Utilize knowledge and skills to maintain the highest level of safety and efficiency for machines, tools, equipment, and facilities, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. - Training and Development
Train and coach team members in performance, setups, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and maintenance and repair operations, and provide multi-skills training to effectively handle breakdown situations.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum three years of relevant maintenance experience required; experience in maintenance and repair operations associated with electrical systems, electronics, fabrication, hydraulics, injection molding, mechanical drives, pneumatics, robotics, stamping, welding, assembly, and conveyor systems preferred.
- Minimum two years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred; automotive industry experience preferred.
The Maintenance Team Leader will work in a fast-paced, multicultural work environment with moderate noise levels and occasional presence of disagreeable conditions. Travel to Japan for training and benchmark activities may be required.
