El Representante de Pre-certificación garantiza que los pacientes programados para servicios estén financieramente autorizados antes de que se realicen dichos servicios. Este rol implica completar la verificación de seguros y la pre-certificación de la cobertura de seguros del paciente.

Responsabilidades del Puesto:
  • Verificar la cobertura de seguros del paciente contactando a las compañías de seguros por teléfono o mediante sistemas informáticos.
  • Completar la pre-certificación de la cobertura de seguros coordinando con grupos de seguros a través de teléfono y sistemas informáticos.
  • Colaborar con representantes de compañías de seguros y médicos para resolver cualquier retraso en la pre-certificación.
  • Actualizar y corregir datos en EPIC para asegurar información demográfica y de seguros precisa para la presentación de reclamaciones limpias y pagos oportunos.
  • Mantener un conocimiento operativo de los requisitos de pre-certificación de los pagadores para una resolución efectiva de cuentas.
Calificaciones:
  • Experiencia en procesos de verificación de seguros y pre-certificación.
  • Dominio en el uso de sistemas informáticos y software para la entrada de datos y verificación de seguros.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación para coordinar con compañías de seguros y profesionales de la salud.
  • Orientación al detalle con la capacidad de actualizar y mantener registros precisos en EPIC.
Turno: 7:30-4pm

Requisitos del Puesto:

Educación Mínima:

Requerido: Diploma de Escuela Secundaria más capacitación adquirida a través de la experiencia laboral o educación
Preferido: Antecedentes administrativos o técnicos adquiridos a través de la finalización de 2 a 3 años de universidad

Experiencia Mínima:

Requerido: 1-2 años de experiencia laboral relacionada
Preferido: 3-5 años de experiencia laboral relacionada
