Position Overview

We are seeking a committed and experienced Water Project Manager to join our innovative engineering team. This role offers a unique chance for a seasoned professional to lead and manage a diverse range of water-related projects. The ideal candidate will oversee all facets of water projects, including wastewater management, drainage design, water treatment, and stormwater management, utilizing HydroCAD software. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all elements of water and wastewater projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
2. Develop and execute project plans, clearly defining scope, objectives, and deliverables.
3. Coordinate project design and team efforts, promoting a collaborative work environment.
4. Conduct comprehensive designs for water and wastewater systems, including drainage and stormwater management.
5. Utilize HydroCAD software for effective stormwater management system design and modeling.
6. Perform technical studies and feasibility assessments, including site evaluations.
7. Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
8. Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to provide updates and resolve issues.
9. Conduct risk assessments and implement effective risk management strategies.
10. Continuously monitor project progress, offering solutions to potential challenges.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is a plus.
2. At least 5 years of experience in managing water projects.
3. Proven expertise in wastewater management, drainage design, and stormwater management.
4. Proficiency in HydroCAD or similar design software.
5. Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
6. In-depth technical knowledge of water and wastewater systems.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
9. A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.
10. Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and build strong client relationships.
