Job Summary

Brown and Caldwell is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Mid-South Region Water Resources business. This hybrid position can be based out of or near our Atlanta, GA office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop client relationships, connecting BC solutions to client needs.
  • Lead project teams in quality project delivery, guiding procurement stages leading to new opportunities.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary resources to deliver projects on schedule and budget, according to client critical success factors.
  • Support staff development, focusing on exceptional client service delivery, strategic planning, and effective communication.
  • Lead teams conducting technical evaluations for water resources planning and design, including watershed studies, modeling, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure quality client services, clarity on work products, and delivery of high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Meet identified performance metrics, including annual sales goals, project budgets, and schedules.
Requirements
  • S. degree in a related engineering field (Civil, Environmental, etc.).
  • Professional Engineer registration in the State of Georgia (and in Tennessee, a plus).
  • A minimum of 12 years' experience in consulting and engineering services in the environmental sector, with progressive responsibilities including business development and project delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, lead project teams, and provide strong business growth results in management roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects, delivering on time and on budget, while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Proven understanding of environmental and regulatory drivers for clients and projects.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resources allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Ability to motivate others and lead teams to implement plans for projects and client pursuits.
