About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team at First National Bank of Omaha. As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will play a critical role in helping customers achieve their dream of homeownership by delivering a personalized and seamless mortgage experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and close mortgage loans while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and meeting file accountability guidelines.
  • Collect and input complete applications using the FNBO Mortgage system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by listening to the needs of customers and providing solid advice and guidance on mortgage loans.
  • Consult with clients about current and future mortgage needs to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Continually look for ways to increase revenue and reduce expenses.
  • Meet and/or exceed defined monthly and annual sales goals and contribute to our overall divisional goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong sales ability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
  • Open availability 8am-6pm M-F and 9am-1pm Saturday (central time).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of pricing and various underwriting requirements.
  • 1+ years of experience in mortgage loan origination.
  • Active Mortgage Originator with a pipeline.
