Position: Help Desk / Desktop Support Specialist II

Hours/Duration: 40 hrs/wk, M-F, FTE

Responsibilities:

Handle and resolve remote tickets for a large user base

Diagnose and troubleshoot Tier 2 issues in collaboration with the staff

Utilize Windows OS and other Microsoft applications including Office 365

Facilitate video conferencing via tools such as ZOOM

Set up new users with necessary hardware and software, including IMAGING and Office 365

Document and track resolutions in the designated tool

Set up and monitor VPN for users

Exhibit strong customer service skills in all interactions

Communicate effectively with users and team members

Demonstrate a proactive approach towards problem-solving.

Requirements

Possession of relevant experience in a Help Desk Analyst role within the Healthcare/NHS industry.
Demonstrated knowledge of Database, EO/IR systems, Lotus Notes, and Microsoft.
Proficiency in working with Active Directory, Computer Hardware, and Configuration Management.
Proven skills in Deskside Support and Desktop Hardware.
Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with end-users and IT staff.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and data security standards.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in IT Service Management would be a plus.
Flexibility to work in shifts if required.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
