Role: Customer Service Retention Specialist

Location: South Charleston, WV 25303

Job Type: Fulltime

Job Summary

The Customer Service Sales Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through problem-solving skills and effective communication. This role combines elements of customer service and sales, requiring the ability to turn any situation into a positive outcome.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promote and sell products and services to customers.

2. Provide excellent customer service via phone, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

3. Negotiate and complete save/service order requests from customers.

4. Work with customers patiently, tactfully, and efficiently to resolve issues.

5. Accurately inform customers of various fees and adjustments.

6. Offer options to customers based on their product and service needs.

7. Demonstrate active listening skills and follow tactical call flows to optimize the customer experience.

Requirements

1. Outstanding customer service skills.

2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

3. Basic math skills, data entry skills, and sales aptitude.

4. Understanding of hardware and software, with moderate-to-high level troubleshooting skills.

5. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Previous customer service experience in a high-volume environment.

2. 2+ years of call center experience or equivalent required.

3. 1 year of contact center and 1 year of retention experience preferred.

4. High school diploma or equivalent.

5. 18 years of age or older.
