About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier at SpeeDee Oil Change and Auto Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relations: Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, professional, and inviting manner, explaining our preventative maintenance services and pricing structure to achieve high customer satisfaction and increased sales.
  • Business Development: Review services performed and bill out customers, obtain technical information from managers or technicians in response to customer questions, and present promotional materials to customers.
  • Shop Operations: Maintain a spotless customer service/office area, customer restrooms, and greet and write up work orders for customers when business trends dictate the need.
Requirements
  • Commitment to Excellence: Demonstrate a commitment to excellence at all levels of service, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Retail Experience: Possess retail experience, with automotive experience a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills, a cheerful and friendly demeanor, and an enthusiastic attitude and good work ethic.
  • Computer Skills: Possess basic computer and office management skills, with a clean and neat appearance and good telephone voice.
