Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical assistance for projects utilizing the Ab Initio ETL tool suite.
  • Diagnose and resolve challenges associated with Ab Initio applications, infrastructure, and deployment processes.
  • Develop and sustain documentation pertaining to Ab Initio setups, troubleshooting methodologies, and best practices.
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their needs and offer suitable solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and address intricate technical challenges.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support beyond standard business hours as necessary.

Qualifications (Essential Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience with the Ab Initio ETL tool suite.
  • Proficiency in GDE, Co>Operating system, EME, Control>Center, Conduct>IT, Express>IT, DQA, Metadata Hub (MDH), Query>IT.
  • Desirable experience with Ab Continuous flows, Ab Initio Web Services, and BRE.
  • Experience in Ab Initio configuration management using EME alongside third-party tools like Jenkins.
  • Strong skills in Unix scripting and familiarity with Unix and AIX Operating Systems.
  • Solid understanding of database principles and SQL, with working knowledge of databases such as Oracle, DB2, and Teradata.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Capability to perform effectively in a dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks.
