We are looking for dedicated individuals to become part of our Forensic Scene Team. The primary duties of our Forensic Scene Analysts encompass:

  • Responding to and managing various crime scenes.
  • Collecting and safeguarding physical and biological evidence.
  • Conducting crime scene photography, including shoe and tire impression photography.
  • Executing latent print processing.

This role also involves performing all necessary data entry related to crime scene operations and drafting comprehensive reports of findings, as well as providing testimony in court regarding those findings.

Qualifications for the Forensic Scene Analyst position include:

  • An Associate's degree; or
  • A minimum of two years of full-time experience as a Forensic Scene Analyst (or a comparable role) within a law enforcement agency.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted on a year-for-year basis.
  • Must qualify to wear a tight-fitting respirator by passing a medical evaluation in accordance with federal regulations upon hire or promotion and maintain certification.
  • A valid driver's license.

Salary Range: $23.66 - $34.31 Hourly

For the Senior Forensic Scene Analyst position, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Criminalistics, Forensic Science, or a related discipline.
  • Three years of full-time experience as a Forensic Scene Analyst or a similar role within a law enforcement agency.
  • Certification as a Crime Scene Investigator (CCSI) through the International Association for Identification (IAI).
  • Must qualify to wear a tight-fitting respirator by passing a medical evaluation in accordance with federal regulations upon hire or promotion and maintain certification.
  • A valid driver's license.

Salary Range for Senior Forensic Scene Analyst: $38.73 Hourly

Special Requirement: Due to the sensitive nature of the information handled, successful completion of a background investigation and polygraph examination is mandatory. Candidates receiving a conditional job offer will also need to pass psychological and medical evaluations.

This position is classified as At-Will and is FLSA Non-Exempt, making it eligible for overtime compensation.
