Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative to join our team at Claris Vision. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient data, and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient data, including registration, scheduling, and data entry, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Process patient payments and educate patients regarding benefits and insurance coverage.
  • Verify health insurance and obtain referrals as necessary.
  • Organize and maintain medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks, including scheduling, transportation, filing, and faxing.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and practice management systems.
