Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare a balance sheet, P&L statement, weekly/monthly backlog, gross profit, weekly job cost summary, and labor reports, applying GAAP principles.
  • Job Costing: Reconcile and maintain work-in-progress inventory and fixed assets.
  • Cash Management: Review and approve vouchered payables and expense reports, verify account numbers, and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Accounts Receivable: Run daily AR invoices, register, and process corporate requirements, and assist in cash application and collection calls.
  • Inventory: Coordinate and report the annual inventory, including periodic cycle counts and reviews of overages/shortages.
  • Accounts Payable: Become knowledgeable with GL accounts and proficient in the payables process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 years of cost accounting experience in an OEM manufacturing environment.
  • Expert-level Excel skills, as well as proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong math and analytical skills, excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
