Job Summary

Bridgewell is a leading provider of social and human services that empower individuals with disabilities and other life challenges to live safe, self-directed, and productive lives. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional 2 to join our team in a Level 2 residential program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with skills training in all activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Create opportunities for individuals to develop their skills and foster independence, promoting self-advocacy and self-determination.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, and CARF, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.
  • Transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program, promoting community integration and socialization.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including medical, clinical, and financial records, in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bridgewell policies.
  • Develop positive relationships with guardians, family members, and other stakeholders, promoting a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates or DSP Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and one year of driving experience required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to use Microsoft products and web-based applications.
