Job Title: Associate Fire Alarm Inspection Technician

At Sciens Building Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate Fire Alarm Inspection Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure they are code-compliant and functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of fire alarm systems to identify any deficiencies or issues
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems as needed
  • Collaborate with our sales team and field project teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Produce detailed inspection and deficiency reports in accordance with NFPA standards
  • Deliver projects on schedule and within budget
Requirements:
  • Up to two years of experience in an inspector technician role within the fire detection and protection industry
  • Knowledge of current fire alarm and clean agent/special hazard fire suppression systems
  • NICET Level II certification
  • Proficient in NFPA 72 code requirements
  • Ability to read fire system design drawings
