Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team at National Property Management Associates Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our residential community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Perform maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including repairs and replacements
  • Assist in the setup and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems
  • Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
  • Inspect and repair alarm systems, including fire and protection systems
  • Perform manual repairs, including fixing locks and replacing windows
  • Conduct appliance repair and troubleshooting
  • Perform general upkeep procedures, pool maintenance, and other tasks as assigned
  • Be on call for property manager-assigned responsibilities

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the multi-family industry
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywalling, painting, and other trades
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Good physical condition and strength
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • HVAC certification

Compensation:

$25 per hour

Wages are determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, skill set, and internal equity
