Process Technician Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Technician Lead to oversee production activities during the 3rd shift at our plastic injection molding facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operation of our equipment, supervising production operators, and troubleshooting machinery issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform start-ups, material set-ups, and regular visual inspections to ensure optimal production conditions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine and equipment alarms to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Lead and guide production operators to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently, promoting a culture of quality and safety.
  • Monitor and maintain process controls to ensure conformance with quality standards, driving continuous improvement and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in injection molding with a strong understanding of parameters, materials, and process controls.
  • Supervisory experience with strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of success.
  • A solid understanding of automation, pneumatics, mechanics, and hydraulics is a plus.
  • A willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet business needs.
