Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, service, and inspect security and fire alarm systems
  • Work with hand tools and power tools to complete installations and repairs
  • Lift up to 30lbs of weight and carry tools and ladders
  • Be comfortable working at heights and on ladders
  • Hold OSHA 10 certification (training provided if hired)
  • Pass a drug test and background check
  • Represent the company in a professional manner to clients
  • Develop effective troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Install and service security alarm systems, including CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems
  • Understand schematics for system design and installation
  • Have knowledge of low voltage systems and computer hardware related to security systems
  • Familiarity with alarm system sales and service technician experience
  • Ability to work with computer networking and read blueprints for system installations
