Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the loan application process:
    1. Prepare credit requests ensuring all documentation meets policy and regulatory standards.
    2. Define collateral and other pertinent details for documentation, engaging external parties as necessary.
    3. Coordinate with approved legal counsel for transactions requiring external preparation.
    4. Prepare transactions for closure, ensuring all due diligence and closing conditions are met.
    5. Disburse loan funds and manage fee processing in accordance with executed agreements.
    6. Complete final steps of loan origination to facilitate loan boarding.
    7. Ensure timely processing of withdrawn or declined applications.
  2. Deliver outstanding customer service:
    1. Respond to client inquiries in accordance with bank policies and procedures promptly and accurately.
    2. Resolve customer issues within the scope of authority while effectively collaborating with partners to fulfill client needs.
    3. Process client transaction requests efficiently.
  3. Collaborate with the commercial banking team:
    1. Work with the team to identify financial, loan, and collateral exceptions, documenting efforts to resolve issues.
    2. Proactively manage delinquent and maturing loans to ensure timely resolution.
    3. Address third-party insurance matters promptly to prevent forced placement of insurance.
    4. Assist in the completion of lien perfection and collateral release processes.
    5. Conduct regular check-ins with the commercial banking team to ensure alignment.
    6. Utilize reporting tools for accurate progress tracking.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulations:
    1. Timely address all regulatory monitoring requirements (e.g., Regulation B, ARMCP, HMDA).
    2. Verify that all loan files comply with applicable regulations (e.g., Know Your Customer, OFAC, CIP).
    3. Maintain current knowledge of policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • At least one year of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams.
