Job Summary

As a Property Renovation Specialist at HD Supply, you will be responsible for executing customer projects by assembling teams, delegating responsibilities, developing schedules, and acquiring resources to ensure project completion. You will provide management and customer support while partnering with sales, customers, merchandising, and vendors, and ensure department standards are communicated to project specialists, customers, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough property walks of renovation projects, measuring and reviewing available products, and actively upselling additional products to enhance the customer experience.
  • Input data into appropriate systems, generating quotes, orders, presentations, and reports that support the organization's mission to deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, customers, and cross-functional teams to maintain effective communication, promote idea sharing and creative problem solving, increase efficiency, and ensure timely availability of delivery of products for renovation projects.
  • Oversee and harmonize plans and schedules from all participating functions, ensuring compliance with the master schedule, while proactively resolving scheduling or inter-functional issues.
  • Conduct on-site inspections alongside customers to verify the availability of all materials required for the successful completion of renovation projects, reviewing all completed on-site tasks and providing final approval as necessary.
  • Serve as a point of contact for all customer project issues and discrepancies, partnering with various internal and external departments to resolve all project-related concerns efficiently.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a comfortable environment with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.

Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward.

Requirements
  • Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline.
  • Certification may be required in some areas.
  • Generally 0-2 years of experience in a related field or MS/MA and generally 0-1 year of experience in a related field.
