Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team at SCO Family of Services. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, analyzing reports, and providing exceptional support to our programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Program Coordinator and maintain open communication.
  • Analyze reports and maintain data tracking systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Utilize strong organizational skills to proofread and verify data reports.
  • Work independently on projects while being a team player and contributing to a collaborative environment.
  • Read, interpret, and verify data from multiple sources and formats.
  • Participate in mandatory meetings and training as needed, including Riker's Island.
  • Manage multiple projects with excellent time management skills and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure the integrity of the program by communicating with the New York City Department of Education and the Department of Corrections.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work a maximum of 26 hours per week.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain Department of Corrections clearance and work within facility guidelines.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office and Database skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with bi-lingual a plus.
