Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer inquiries and provide accurate, courteous, and timely information regarding claim status and other claim inquiries
  • Review contract coverage terms and conditions to ensure accurate claims processing
  • Adjudicate claims in a cost-effective manner, taking into account all relevant factors and evidence
  • Provide excellent customer service to every contract holder, ensuring a positive experience and building trust and loyalty
  • Enter claims and estimates information into computer claims systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Document files to include all key activities regarding estimates, repairs, and evaluation summaries, reflecting and revisions
  • Ensure claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct
  • Conduct and coordinate loss investigations on all claims, gathering and analyzing evidence to determine cause and extent of damage
  • Recommend further action on claims exceeding authority limits, working closely with supervisors and claim management for approval
  • May aid in the training and mentoring of new employees, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure successful onboarding

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of how a vehicle operates mechanically, with knowledge of automotive parts and systems
  • Experience in the automotive industry, with a proven track record of success in claims adjusting or related roles
  • Basic Microsoft Office 365 experience, with proficiency in computer claims systems and software
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written format, with excellent customer service skills and ability to manage customer phone calls
  • Strong multitasking skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple claims simultaneously
  • Must be able to pass both a Computer and Typing Skills Assessment, with high-speed internet access (50 MBPS download/6 MBPS upload)
