Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Controls Systems Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing system commissioning, troubleshooting, and resolving basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Loads system-level controller software and performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics.
- Troubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.
- Provides our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
- Communicates with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
- Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training.
Requirements
- 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or similar field.
- At least 2 years of industry experience or experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
- Effective interpersonal skills to properly represent Johnson Controls to customers and other outside contacts.
- Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
- Leadership skills to support the activities of Mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical Building Automation equipment on a job site.
