About This Opportunity

American Honda Motor Co. is seeking a highly skilled Software Defined Vehicle Experience Designer to join our team. As a key member of our global design and development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of connected vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative and user-centric design solutions for software defined vehicle experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create product solutions that drive value for American Honda Motor Co.
  • Design and present digital and physical hybrid mock-ups and clickable prototypes of UI/UX solutions.
  • Conduct user research and testing to develop insights related to new cabin experience design concepts.
  • Communicate design concepts and themes to project stakeholders through research analysis, narrative description, wireframing, design mockups, and prototypes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an experience designer with demonstrable experience in software defined vehicle experiences.
  • A strong portfolio of UX design projects that demonstrate your skills and expertise.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in the study of design, including product design, interaction design, UI/UX design, service design, information architecture, human computer interaction, or a portfolio that shows equivalent project experience.

  • Proficient and highly skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Adobe XD, ProtoPie, and other design tools.
