Innovative Experience Designer for Connected Vehicles

Honda is seeking a highly skilled Software Defined Vehicle Experience Designer to join our global design and development team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of connected vehicles and creating innovative experiences for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop forward-thinking and innovative ideas for connected vehicle experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop entire experience systems, including user interfaces, connected data, and interaction models.
- Design and present digital and physical hybrid mock-ups and clickable prototypes of UI/UX solutions.
- Conduct user research and testing to develop insights related to new cabin experience design concepts.
- Mature designs based on internal and external stakeholder feedback.
- Assist in leading the development of solutions that incorporate a high degree of product innovation, differentiating value, and competitive advantage.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an experience designer with demonstrable experience in software defined vehicle experiences.
- A strong portfolio of UX design projects that demonstrate your skills and expertise.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in the study of design, including product design, interaction design, UI/UX design, service design, information architecture, human-computer interaction, or a portfolio that shows equivalent project experience.
Additional Position Factors:
- Use of basic desk and computer.
- Use of basic hand and cutting tools for prototyping.
- Light lifting, less than 30lbs.
- OT required at times.
- Travel in the US and to Japan ~ 2x per year.
