Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family medicine and primary care, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive healthcare to patients of the Lower Elwha Clinic
- Triage, evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic injuries and illnesses within scope of training
- Consult with staff physicians when clinically indicated
- Order and interpret lab and x-ray data appropriately within scope of training
- Initiate referrals to other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements:
- Current PA-C or ARNP licensure in Washington State
- Current ACLS and BLS certification, or obtain within 6 months of hire
- Knowledge and competence in family medicine/primary care minor orthopedics and minor surgical procedures
- Ability to work successfully with other healthcare professionals, patients, and community
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a primary care outpatient clinic environment
- Involves extensive interpersonal contact with staff and patients
