Nurse Practitioner

Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Department of Anesthesiology. As a Pain Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and management of acute and chronic pain conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory studies
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in education and research initiatives to advance pain management practices
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting, as well as occasional climbing, balancing, and stooping. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively is essential.
