About the Role:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Franciscan Medical Clinic - Port Orchard. As a LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, assisting with patient clinic visits, taking vital signs, obtaining medical history, and preparing patients for exams.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
- Assist with patient clinic visits, taking vital signs, obtaining medical history, and preparing patients for exams.
- Perform or assist with patient care procedures, diagnostic tests, and clinical procedures within the scope of LPN licensure.
- Administer medications per written provider orders and track medication usage.
- Document patient care interactions and procedures in the electronic medical record.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Graduated from an accredited school of practical nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- One year of LPN work experience in a clinic setting OR two years of acute care LPN work experience preferred.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
